Where egress doors are used in pairs, automatic flush bolts may be used on the inactive leaf provided no surface mounted hardware is mounted on that door leaf (Section 1008.1.9.3(3)). Please see proposed deadbolts on new bathroom doors, proposed locking system on doors should function as an automatic flush bolts, when the door lever is operated door should unlock automatically if the doors functions as such then please provide a note on hardware schedule indicating so.
