The permit submission indicates that new light switches, switched receptacles, lights and illuminated mirrors are part of the scope of work of the permit. Section C405.2.3 of the 2012 Virginia Energy Conservation Code (VECC) requires that a master control device is installed at the main room entry of each sleeping unit which controls all permanently installed luminaires and switched receptacles of the sleeping unit, including the bathroom. Sheet T2.1 indicates that Leviton Guest Room Solution Lighting Controls will be installed in each ADA room. The notes on sheet T2.1 indicate that the system will control bathroom lighting as well as the hallway lighting but makes no mention of switch controlled receptacles. Sheet A1.0 indicates that switch controlled receptacles continue to be in the scope of work. In the resubmission, expand the General Energy Notes on sheet T2.1 to indicate that all switch controlled receptacles will also be controlled by the Leviton Guest Room Solution Lighting Control system.
